East Africa is home
to a fantastically diverse range of landscapes and ecosystems,
and offers the widest choice of safari activities in Africa. From
the spectacular wilds of northern Kenya to our private areas in
Amboseli and the Serengeti and the rolling grasslands of the Mara,
it is country that can fulfil your wildest dreams. The very word
“safari” instantly evokes the adventure, romance and
mystery of East Africa.
We offer varied and flexible itineraries, and
when you plan your safari with us we will ensure that you travel
in safety and comfort. Each safari is designed to take full advantage
of all that is on offer, with your own particular interests in
mind. Each boasts an exciting array of experiences and destinations,
from our exclusive luxury tented
safaris to making use of select privately
hosted lodges.
Most itineraries offer opportunities to hike,
birdwatch, ride, visit historical and archaeological sites and
even spend time with indigenous people. There are also a number
of ways that you can personalise your safari even further, including
helicopter excursions, fly camping, high-altitude fly-fishing,
visits to prehistoric sites, lake fishing, mountaineering, walking
with camels or riding on the backs of elephants. Should you wish
to visit other African countries - such as Rwanda, to see the
mountain gorillas; Zimbabwe, to see the Victoria Falls; or Botswana,
to see the Okovango delta - we can include these destinations
in your itinerary.
We recommend flying between destinations,
so that you spend most of your time in the bush, not on the road.
Flying not only gives you more time with the animals, but a unique
and beautiful perspective of the terrain. The breathtaking panorama
of the Rift Valley, for example, can be seen with unrivalled clarity
from the air, while eliminating a long day’s drive.
Please note that we do not offer any fixed itineraries
or set departures. Each itinerary is specially planned to
suit your party’s interests, destinations are selected in accordance
with prevailing conditions and time of year. See our Destinations
page for more ideas for your safari, and FAQ's
for information on planning your safari. Also have a look at our
gallery.
